Today's strip is a flashback to the first time Butterscotch and Mel met each other. That annoying jerk that thinks he's being clever... every party has them. It's a good thing Mel turned out to be a decent guy. One does wonder, though, what he's doing carrying around such a valuable bottle of Scotch in his car... (This was before he was an eccentric millionaire, mind you.)
