Sadly, this strip is based on a true story. The last time I went to buy some mint chocolate chip ice cream, I could only find it in a 1.5 quart package. What made it even more infuriating, though, was the fact that they were selling it side by side with leftover 1.75 quart packages of other flavors. For the same price! Oh sure, they change the design of the package and make it look all new and pretty, hoping that you'll be distracted from the fact that they're giving you less ice cream for the same amount of money! It's ridiculous.
